Elewana Collection celebrates inaugural World Chimpanzee Day
The 14th July marks the first World Chimpanzee Day, watch our video and listen to Jane, as she shares her reflections on the chimpanzees, and that we must each take action to protect chimpanzees in the wild, and in captivity, before it is too late.
On this day nearly 60 years ago, Dr. Goodall first stepped foot on the shores of Lake Tanganyika, Tanzania, and encountered the amazing chimpanzees of Gombe. Her findings and relationship with these extraordinary beings changed the way we understand our relationship to the rest of the animal kingdom.
