The Land & Life Foundation is delighted to welcome Shalini Tak as Sustainability Manager. The role will involve working across the spectrum for Land & Life but with a particular focus on overseeing the sustainability strategy and understanding how the group can reduce its carbon footprint.

Shalini is a devoted environmentalist with a deep passion for ecological protection, community safeguarding and the progress of tourism in Africa. Registered with the National Environment Management Authority of Kenya (NEMA) as a Lead Environmental Expert with a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Environmental Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Degree in Hospitality Management from Les Roches Spain, Shalini brings a wealth of knowledge to the Foundation.

Having gained valuable experience in social and environmental management through previous employment in Spain, the UK and Kenya, Shalini has a keen appreciation of the hospitality industry combined with an unwavering environmental ethos which has given her a unique, valuable perspective into eco-tourism and sustainable development.
