Home to many thousands of wild and rare animals, the south-central area of Serengeti has one of the densest populations of big cats amongst all of Africa. The regular sightings of lions, leopards, and cheetah, also mean guests might catch a hunt in real life. Amidst the quintessential Serengeti landscapes of acacia-studded savanna for which the park is famous for, guests will also meet elephants, hippos, and buffalo, and a variety of antelopes including impala, topi and of course, the infamous wildebeest. In fact, the property is situated in the perfect location to catch this annual event when the herds move through the park from April to June traveling north and then return south from October to December.
