Born Free Saving Meru’s Giants team recently highlighted a wonderful example of their work in the area, in partnership with Kenya Wildlife Services where they were able to rescue a baby elephant called Savannah who had fallen into a waterhole created for livestock. Despite his stressful ordeal, he was able to be reunited with his mother and was quickly feeding well and regaining his strength. For more information click here
